What if the moments that feel like your life is falling apart are actually the moments when God is closest?

Most of us want spiritual growth to happen on our terms — when life is calm, predictable, and under control. But Scripture tells a very different story. Again and again, God meets people when the map has burned up: Abraham leaving everything familiar, Hagar alone in the wilderness, Mary surrendering the future she expected, Paul blinded on the road to Damascus, and the disciples walking toward Emmaus with their hopes shattered.

At the center of these encounters is a powerful Hebrew word: Hineni — “Here I am.” It is more than simply announcing your presence. It is the posture of someone who is available to God before knowing exactly what He is about to ask. And the remarkable idea we’ll explore is that our “Here I am” is always a response to God already saying, in effect, “I am here with you.”

So if you are walking through uncertainty, loss, disruption, disappointment, or simply a season where life no longer looks the way you expected, this conversation is worth your time. Because the place you most want to escape may be the very place where God is preparing to meet you, reshape you, and lead you into something new.

This episode is about learning to recognize God in the geography of your actual life — not someday, not somewhere more spiritual, but right where you are standing.
