The Handoff - Engineering the Mass Deception of End Times
We recently discussed two corrections associated with modern Biblical prophecy. The Holy of Holies of Bible Prophecy, and The Continual were discussed in previous podcasts deconstructing the text in Daniel 9 and in Daniel 12 respectively. This podcast posits the theory that there are two deceptions running concurrently. There is the false religion which details the Islam religion. It is not just a counterfeit to Christianity, it’s end times eschatology mirrors Christian end times even with a cast of characters that looks oddly like the Christion cast… but inverted. The Handoff asks what happens to a Christian caught within the context of a theological tradition that is represented by dispensational theology - specifically the idea that there is a 7 year tribulation, a peace treaty that is broken in the middle, and a rapture of the church before the tribulation period begins. What if that Christian is living in the midst of end times and his rapture never comes. Basically, he’s a theological sitting duck and interestingly, the other deception, the false religion of Islam is right there to pick up the ball.
The deception has two components. First there is a false religion. That is outside the Christian faith but leverages much of the Christian framework within its own construct. The second deception is inside the church. That is the traditional 7 year tribulation which includes the rapture that takes place before all the bad stuff happens. The Continual and The Holy of Holies of Bible Prophecy show that the 7 year tribulation and specifically the pretribulation rapture is a trap, a red herring. The greatest deception ever concocted, centuries in the making is when the end times of these two narratives collide. The question is how many Christians will be standing there in end times and wondering what happened. When their faith is fractured and they are ripe for the picking.
