We are introducing a series that walks our listeners through the Gospel of Mark. We realize that our Podcasts can go down many rabbit holes and can be confusing to some. So, with this, we will attempt to maintain clarity and hopefully eliminate some confusion as you listen. Yes, we will still go down some rabbit holes but only to support what we are reading in Mark and give you some of the back story, context, and a deeper understanding. The Gospel of Mark is like the cliff-notes version of the ...

The Meaning of the Cross
As a new Christian, I had a hard time conflating what Jesus did on the cross with what he accomplished. Then, I started studying Paul more and digging into the unseen realm. (There's even a book by that name by Michael Heiser—totally worth reading!). My entire perspective and appreciation for Christ have changed dramatically as I began to grasp the spiritual battles and stop just focusing on my earthly challenges.

LOGOS
We read the first sentence in John, and if you're like me, we blow right over it... "In the beginning was the word." Until you discover the Greek word underneath: "Logos", it is tough to see what John is saying here. I like this concept: Before anything is created, a thought proceeds it. This implies a "thinker". John connects the thinker to the thought, to Jesus, and God, all in this one packed sentence!

A Bible Movie Concept
Sick of the effects that ignore the story? We conceive of a movie that is a big screen epic with an actual biblical grounding. How would you depict the moment where "God Wins"? I'm leaving it open ended. I have my own ideas.

The Prodigal's Brother
Voddie Baucham brings us full circle on the Parable of the Prodigal Son by reminding us that Jesus is talking to the Pharisees. They would not have identified with the youngest son in this parable... but they were NOT happy? Why, because the parable WAS about them! It was about the older brother! Voddie Baucam -> The Parable of the Older Son

Heaven and Earth
Conversation inspired by a video from the Bible Project. If you have not discovered Tim Mackey and the Bible Project, it is a great website and YouTube channel for learning the Bible. This was the episode called Heaven and Earth: https://youtu.be/Zy2AQlK6C5k?si=JkiHhYTeg0XO61wg. Also, check out the classroom on https://bibleproject.com/. It's a great way to study the Bible. The lesser gods - No Idols Before God
Reading Michael Heiser may change your perspective and even challenge how you read the Bible. I love it. The early Christians and the Apostles had a very spiritually warfare-driven mindset that gets washed out in later interpretations of the Bible. In my opinion, this has made the Bible more difficult to understand. Michael Heiser's content is all over YouTube. Check it out. The two significant books I have loved include The Unseen Realm and Reversing Hermon. Both can be found on Amazon and if ...

The Song of Moses - The Entire Bible in one Song
I particularly like the Septuagint version and in general, I am leaning towards that version for all my reading. As I seek to understand how the Apostles read and understood the bible, we can get lost in later translations. The Song of Moses is no exception.

Rabbit Holes and Meditations - Behind the Scenes
After getting some comments on these podcasts (Good and Bad), I wanted listeners to see how they are created. Generally, it starts with me reading something in the Bible (My favorite Bible is the Thompson Chain Reference Bible (NIV) and then going "down a rabbit hole" with ChatGPT and trying to understand the context of what I'm reading. My journey may also cross-media to YouTube videos and other resources. Ultimately, I have an article I submit to Google NotebookLM to create the PODCAST. If you...

If you haven't figured it out, I'm convinced of the idea of Nephilim genetics as the seed of the serpent. This podcast offers more clarity on the subject.
