End Times Expectations - Without the Charts

I know you're hearing it in every religious circle. We are in end times. Right? It's right around the corner. We will see Christ return in our lifetime.

There is a lot going on in the world. Iran! AI! Economic uncertainty. Christian persecution (if you're not seeing this, you have to perhaps look outside your own social bubble), Political uncertainty. Transhumanism. Israel instability. Ukraine. and on and on.

And very often, in that same circle, the is a person with the charts - mapping out the sequences and the timelines. He has it down to a science. And he's dogmatic about it. Go beyond that person and you'll find those like him all over the web doing exactly the same thing.

Today, we step back from all that and turn to scripture, not the charts... not the concoctions of men who think they have solved some puzzle not meant to be a puzzle at all. We listen to what Jesus actually said. We turn our heads away from the charts, look at the words on the page, lift our heads and rest in His words.

Stop the anxiety of guessing.
