Stephen Bartlett interviews two people, among many others, who have a similar landing. I chose these out of the many because they come from completely different backgrounds and arrive at similar conclusions. One is a psychologist and one is a neuroscientist. Collectively, these have gotten over 10 million views. After watching these and some others, I noticed something that feels – well – “off”. Then it hit me. Both of these people are trying to construct their spiritual world view that puts them at the center – instead of God.

If you pay careful attention, you can detect a circular argument - an intrinsic contradiction that should scream "I'm a complete fraud" but we don't do that. We do hint at that in this podcast, but we decided that arguing by throwing the bible at these people gets us nowhere. Especially if we have in our audience the person who is sitting on the fence considering Christianity as only one option.

The notes include the transcripts of the videos (very hard to read) so I wanted also to post links to the original interviews with Steve Bartlett. If you have time (they are super long), they are both worth listening to. We also provide a pretty decent discernment test so the listener or the reader can ground the discussion back in reality.
