Rethinking End Times
Ok, if you want to know why we call this Podcast Rabbit Holes, you're about to follow how my brain works! I started today covering the last three woes and that ends in another lament by Jesus over Jerusalem. That got me wondering about the judgement that fell in AD 70. Then I thought, well, I don't really know what happened to the Jews after that. I know somehow, they survived, but how? So I followed that track all the way to 1948 where the Israel becomes a nation state. Then I think, ok, so why is that important and I jumped on my Berean Filter application and started asking some pretty straight forward questions. It all started with why does end times prophecy focus on Israel.
Well, guess what. Israel may not be the focus. I say "may" because I'm quite taken aback by the entire conversation but also very much intrigued and on board with it. I plan to go deeper with it, but what I have so far, I'm going to share in the podcast. This is NOT DOGMA. I'm not teaching this is absolute. I'm simply asking questions and letting scripture speak. I would love your feedback on this. If you have objections or questions, I'll run them into the Berean Filter and pull scripture that either supports or dismissions this topic entirely. Right now, I think I'm leaning more to where this podcast is pointing.
