Removing the VR Headset - Finding Reality

We are living in a simulator ! ?? I'm hearing this a lot so I wanted to address it.

I don't know if this is just a meme type phenomenon or if these guys really know what they are suggesting. Let me name some of the bigger influencers on YouTube (at least the ones that cross my path). They include Tom Bilyeu, Steve Bartlett, Chase Hughes and many others including many of those whom they've interviews. It fascinates me how many of these guys default to the position of "We are living in a simulation". Now, I have to say, I loved the Matrix. I still think it was a great movie. There is also a movie that perhaps was not as popular but it ended up being about a guy who had some part in building a VR simulation. In the end, he discovered that he was also living inside a simulation (so he had created a simulation within a simulation).

So, we went down the rabbit hole not really with a script of any sort, which is the ways conversations always run. Ultimately, the defining question was if you're living inside a simulation, can you know it's creator. Unless, somehow, the creator jumps into his own simulation, I don't think it works. The other option is that you're NOT in a simulation and God has no problem walking with you. If you assume Occam's razor, then living in a simulation and knowing God makes no sense.
