Paul's Last Trumpet

I was always confused by: First Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This is an easy trap to fall into when doing end times / Revelation studies. I thought that last trumpet was the 7th Trumpet in Revelation. It was both confusing and frankly a little scary to think about! But in our last deep dive - we found something that made better sense in the context of who Paul was (a Pharisee deeply rooted in Jewish tradition).
