Jesus Say Who He Is Clearly - I and The Father Are One

We're on the last leg of Jesus' journey to the cross. One shift that I'm noticing is a focus on logic and argument derived from Scripture. Earlier in Jesus ministry, it was more about actions. Lately, Jesus is showing a command of scripture and the Law that is irrefutable. If you want to go find these arguments, look no further than where the Jews pick up stones. When Jesus presents an argument to the Jews that they cannot respond to intellectually, they always resort to violence.

Such is the case here, on our Red-Letter journey. We are in John 10:22-42, in the winter, during Hannukah - the Festival of Dedication. Jews surround Jesus and are asking Him to be more explicit about His Messiahship. When He goes beyond what they are asking, and offers a rock-solid argument from Scripture, the Jews attempt what they came to do in the first place... they resort to a violent response.

Where do you hear His voice — in the place of power, or in the place of repentance?
